1. Procedure

The Board of Trustees takes the position that sound fiscal management is essential to the successful operation of a college. To uphold this commitment, the Board: 

• Encourages proactive budget planning
• Actively participates in budget priority-setting and decision-making
• Explores diverse and sustainable sources of revenue
• Oversees the effective stewardship of college resources
• Requires regular and transparent financial reporting
• Advocates for the efficient and strategic use of fiscal resources
• Ensures the establishment and maintenance of robust internal controls
