Apply To Western

Follow the 7 steps below in applying, enrolling, and registering  to become a Mustang at Western Wyoming Community College. 

1​​​. ​Complete a Western Wyoming Community College Application. Required for all new and returning students.​  International students must complete a separate application (see below for the link).

Full-Time Student (12 credit hours or more per semester)
Submit an Mustang Admissions Application. This form is for all students planning to attend full-time (12 credit hours or more per semester) or are degree seeking.

*Before you begin the application process, you will need to create an account. The application is FREE and will take you approximately 15 minutes to fill out. Submit the application online and print a copy of the confirmation page for your records. Make sure to check your email for updates on your application status and any additional information that might be needed for acceptance. Once you have been accepted to Western, you will be provided your Western email address for all future communications.

Non-Degree Seeking Students
 

To register for classes, please use the Non-Degree Seeking Student Registration Form.

*This non-degree seeking student registration form can be used for any term with open registration. Students will be contacted by e-mail concerning any pre-requisites, the availability, and the cost of their registration. Payment is due at the time of registration. For your convenience, we accept Visa or Mastercard over the phone.

2. Complete Your Western Welcome Certificate

Western Welcome is an online program that walks you through the steps in registering, and at the end, provides a certificate of completion. It is filled with videos from the president, administration, and students that guide you through the process and introduces you to campus. Once you have applied for admission, and are accepted to Western, you will be able to log into your MyWestern account and access the Western Welcome platform. 3. RSVP to Western Orientation Resources Event (W.O.R.E.)

Once you are a student at Western you MUST attend Orientation. Please RSVP HERE.

​4. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  As early as possible.

Complete and submit a free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or pick up FAFSA forms in the Financial Aid Office located in Mustang Central. For scholarships, a majority of applications open in December and close April 1st. 

5. ​Meet with your Student Success Coach

New students pursuing a certificate/degree/transfer program are required to work with a Student Success Coach for initial course planning and registration. You will also be guided on taking placement tests to help assign you to a level of courses.

6. ​Register for Western classes

Register for your classes using the Self-Service menu in MyWestern located in the upper right-hand corner. No payment is due at the time of registration, if you are registering before the payment deadline for that semester. Make sure to check your schedule for accuracy​​. ​​​

7. ​Attend WORE (Western Orientation Resources Event) on Friday August 18th, 2023 from 12:00PM-3:30PM

Western Wyoming Community College does not use high-pressure recruitment tactics, commissions, bonuses, or other incentive payment programs given to employees for the purpose of directly or indirectly securing enrollments.
