PERSONAL LEAVE

The College will grant leave with pay to full-time or part-time benefitted College employees for personal use.

Personal Leave must be approved by the supervisor in advance.

PERSONAL LEAVE

The College will grant the following personal leave options to employees as listed below:

  • Faculty will receive 32 hours of personal leave per fiscal year.
  • Full-time Professionals and Paraprofessionals will receive 24 hours of personal leave per fiscal year.
  • Part-time Benefitted Employees will receive 40 hours of personal leave per fiscal year.

Employees may request personal leave without stating a specific reason. However, the employee’s supervisor must approve the leave in advance.

Personal leave is available at the beginning of each fiscal year. Employees who begin work between July 1st and December 31st will receive the full annual leave amount. Employees who begin work between January 1st and June 30th will receive half of the allotted personal leave. This leave does not accrue or rollover to the next fiscal year, nor is it paid out upon separation from the College.
