RESIGNATION

It is the intent of the College to encourage excellent personnel to remain employed by the College.

The President shall establish procedures regarding the acceptance of resignations from employees.

Procedure 4230B

RESIGNATION

Although the College will encourage excellent professionals and paraprofessionals to remain employed by the College, resignations shall be submitted in compliance with the following procedure.

Professionals
Upon resignation, a professional employee must be released from their employment contract by the Board of Trustees during a regular meeting. Resignations by professionals may or may not be accepted by the Board of Trustees.

Paraprofessionals
Paraprofessionals who wish to resign are encouraged to provide a minimum of ten working days’ notice. With advance mutual agreement between the appropriate supervisor and the employees, less than a ten working day notice will be allowed.
