Classrooms

The Children’s Center provides high quality education and care to the children of students and employees of Western Wyoming Community College as well as community members, beginning in August. We accept children ages two through five, year-round, according to the academic calendar.

Beginning in the fall, Children’s Center hours will be 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday during fall and spring semesters. During summer semester, we will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Each family must complete a registration packet, which includes a family registration form, a copy of their class schedule (students), and immunization records.

For students, fees are assessed at the beginning of the semester at the rate of $23.56 per credit. Students are charged a fee per credit hour and a non-refundable supply fee. Fees are collected by the Business Office or through Procare childcare management software. Employees are billed the first week of each month, and pay a daily fee of $10.79 per half day (up to five hours) and $17.43 per full day (5+ hours), as well as a non-refundable supply fee of $50 per semester. Full days during summer semester are $20.71.

Each classroom boasts teachers who hold degrees or who are currently working toward degrees, and all staff are trained in early childhood education, first aid, CPR, and other important safety and educational training through Childcare Education Institute throughout the year.

Children may attend the Bunnies two-year-old class beginning on their second birthday. They don't need to be potty-trained. Children must turn three or four on or before August 1st to attend the Bears three-year-old and the Turtles four-year-old classrooms. Bears and Turtles must be potty-trained.
