Career Information

Electrical Engineers need to be tenacious and meticulous. An analytical approach to problem solving is a must, although this does not preclude the need for creativity. More specifically, Electrical Engineers generate circuit schematics for components/prototypes, develop computer scripts to analyze components and /processes, write technical reports and give presentations.  Employers want engineers they can depend on to take care of the details and ensure effective communication between diverse teams.

Though job titles vary depending on company and field, Mechanical Engineers can find employment in a wide array of private and public sectors.  Some fields include but are not limited to:
