With over 12 years of industry experience and 20 years in the classroom, Mark brings real-world knowledge and a deep commitment to student success in Industrial Maintenance. Mark’s career began in Wyoming’s mining industry, where he spent 8 years as a production and maintenance supervisor, planner, and maintenance engineer. He also worked 4 years in the oil and gas and heavy construction industries, giving him a broad and practical understanding of industrial systems and fieldwork. As a Registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mark translates complex technical concepts into real-world applications. His teaching focuses on helping students understand how classroom theory directly applies to the work they’ll do on the job. “What I love most about teaching is seeing students succeed in their careers… and then later teaching their kids.” Known for his approachable style and ability to make learning meaningful, Mark is passionate about helping students build successful, hands-on careers. A longtime Wyoming resident, Mark has called the state home for most of his life. In his free time, he enjoys restoring classic hot rods and sharing his love of mechanics with the next generation.
