What: Turnitin is used to deter plagiarism. When students submit their assignment through Turnitin, this tool looks for similarity by comparing student's work against internet content, work previously submitted to Turnitin, and a repository of periodicals, journals, and publications.

How: Turnitin is already integrated with Canvas. You can setup your Canvas assignment to review similarity, and use Turnitin's Feedback Studio to grade your student's work. Or, you can simply setup your assignment to check for similarity while using the Canvas SpeedGrader.
