Rules & Regulations

All students at Western Wyoming Community College are subject to all federal, state, and local laws, as well as the College’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Students in violation of these regulations may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including suspension or dismissal as well as possible prosecution under federal, state and local laws. The College has regulations concerning student conduct including, but not limited to: behavior at college sponsored activities, hazing of other students, inappropriate use of college property, tobacco use, alcohol or drug possession or use, physical or verbal assault, personal harassment, sexual harassment or misconduct, the use of explosives, fireworks, or firearms, and tampering with fire fighting equipment and fire alarms.  The College also has academic regulations concerning student academic dishonesty.  These regulations can be found in the Student Code of Conduct Policy (5420A).

A copy of the Student Handbook, which contains the Code of Conduct policy and procedure, is made available to students electronically each year.  A hard copy may also be obtained from Mustang Central. Students are responsible for reading and abiding by the provisions of the Code of Student Conduct. The Code applies to behaviors that take place on the campus, at college-sponsored events, and may also apply off-campus when the College determines that the off-campus conduct affects a substantial college interest.
