Drug & Alcohol Free Campus

Western Wyoming Community College complies with the Drug-Free Schools and Campus Regulations (EDGAR Part 86).  As part of the Drug Free Schools the College has a comprehensive alcohol and drug policy, prevention committee, prevention and education programming, as well as drug and alcohol remediation for students who have been found in violation of campus policy.  In addition, the college compiles a comprehensive biennial review of drug and alcohol policy, procedures, disciplinary sanctions, and programming.  This review is completed by December 31 of even numbered calendar years.  This review has two objectives:

• To determine the effectiveness of and to implement any needed changes to, the Alcohol and Other Drug prevention program.

• To ensure that the campus enforce the disciplinary sanctions for violating standards of conduct consistently.
