Tourism Ambassador

The Sweetwater County Tourism Ambassador (CTA) program, administered locally by Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism, is part of an internationally recognized certification initiative. Its goal is to boost tourism by empowering front-line employees and volunteers to create positive, memorable experiences for every visitor. When guests enjoy their time here, they’re more likely to return and share their experience—benefiting the local economy, the tourism industry, and most importantly, the front-line workers themselves.

This certification isn’t just for those in tourism. The program combines exceptional customer service training with engaging local history, making it valuable for anyone who lives or works in Sweetwater County.

Western Wyoming Community College is proud to partner with Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism to offer this program. Completing the training is a powerful way to grow your network, deepen your local knowledge, and strengthen your pride in the community.
