The Admissions Office at Western Wyoming Community College will host Parents’ Night information sessions in Rock Springs on Thursday, Jan. 26, and in Green River on Thursday, Feb. 2. Parents of incoming or prospective Western students are invited to attend either session and learn more about financial aid, housing, meal plans, scholarships, and more.

The Jan. 26 Parents’ Night session will be held beginning at 6 p.m. in the Rock Springs High School cafeteria. The Feb. 2 session will be held at the Green River Center beginning at 6 p.m. in Room 208.

Western’s Admissions Office will also visit Green River High School on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. and Rock Springs High School on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. Students are invited to drop by the Mustang table and speak with an admissions representative about the many programs, opportunities and scholarships Western offers.

Parents and students who have not yet decided whether college is in their plans for next fall are strongly encouraged to attend an information session in their area to educate themselves about the admissions process, about academic program options, and about what is required for students to be successful at Western or any other school.

These sessions are free and open to the public, but advance registration is encouraged. For more information, or to register, call (307) 382-1677, or email Mustang Central at
