Mustang freshman Felicia Marshall gets set for the next play during an Oct. 14 match vs. EWC.

When Mustang Volleyball takes the floor in Rushmore Gymnasium next Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. vs Salt Lake Community College, they won’t just be competing against the Bruins. The Mustangs will also be doing their part to battle breast cancer, with their annual Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser.

The Mustangs will compete in pink uniforms Tuesday to show their support for the fight against breast cancer, and pink t-shirts will be on sale at the game. There will also be a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds will go to support the WWCC Breast Cancer Endowment Fund.

Following Tuesday’s game vs. SLCC, the Mustangs will play one final regular-season home match, on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. vs. Casper College. They play two games this weekend, a Friday night match versus Eastern Wyoming College at 7 p.m. and a 3 p.m. match on Saturday, Oct. 15, vs. Laramie County Community College. This year’s Region IX North tournament is in Riverton, Wyo.
