Mustang Volleyball set for big stretch of home games beginning Friday, Oct. 2

The Mustangs will play five games at home during the first 10 days of October.

After almost a month on the road, Mustang Volleyball returns home to friendlier ground to play five home matches in the next nine days in Rushmore Gymnasium, Wyoming’s toughest venue for opposing teams.

The Mustangs’ home stand begins Friday. Oct. 2, with a 7 p.m. match vs. Eastern Wyoming College. Subsequent opponents include:

Laramie County Community College – Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m.

College of Southern Idaho – Monday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m.

Casper College – Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m.

Central Wyoming College – Saturday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m.   

Following the home stand, Western will play three consecutive road games against Region IX Conference foes LCCC, Eastern and Central, followed by home matches versus Northwest College on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. and Sheridan College on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m. The Mustangs close out the regular season with road games at CSI and Casper College.

The NJCAA Region IX North Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 4, here at Western Wyoming Community College.
