ROCK SPRINGS – Western Wyoming Community College and the Associated Student Government will welcome acclaimed college entertainer chrisjones (one word) back to campus for his signature stage performance, which includes magic, hypnosis, comedy, and the power of suggestion, all wrapped into one spectacularly entertaining show!
This presentation, which is free and open to the community, will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, in the WWCC Atrium.
Chrisjones spent seven years living on college campuses and interacting with students, and those experiences have led him to become one of the country’s most popular college acts. Though he initially learned to perform magic tricks as a way to relate to students in his residence halls, the future performer discovered hypnosis in graduate school and incorporated that into his evolving repertoire.
Now, chrisjones performs regularly and to great acclaim at high schools and colleges across the country. In 2012, he was runner-up for the “Fastest-Rising Star Award” as nominated by readers of Campus Activities Magazine.
Chrisjones made his debut appearance at Western last spring, and he was such a hit with the student audience that Associated Student Government chose to bring his dynamic, audience-oriented stage show back to Rock Springs for an encore. Community members are invited to join Western’s students, faculty and staff for this fun and surprising campus event! If you missed the show last year, now’s your chance!
