Hello! As the Interim Dean of Students here at Western Wyoming Community College, I'm here to
help students make Western their "home away from home". I invite you to stop by my office to
see what kind of amazing rooms our Residence Halls have to offer, and what kind of fun
activities Western provides to students. I also teach a Spanish class and Student Leadership
class here at Western every semester.
I was born in Utah, lived in Colorado, then finally moved to Hanna, Wyoming where I graduated
from High School. I first attended Western Wyoming Community College where I earned an
Associate of Arts degree, then attended Chadron State College where I earned a Bachelor of
Arts degree. I then attended the University of Wyoming where I earned a Master of Arts
degree. I am also currently a doctoral student at Capella University completing my EdD in
I had such a positive experience as a student, Resident Assistant, and Associated Student Government Senator at Western that after graduating from UW,
I jumped at the opportunity to come back to Rock Springs and work at Western. I love helping current and future college students have the opportunity
to gain those same positive experiences that I had while I was a student at Western.
If you have any questions about anything, please donít hesitate to come by and visit with me at any time!
I began my career at WWCC as a student in the Office Information Systems program. I graduated with my AAS in May of 2003 and was offered a position in
the Maintenance Department as an office assistant. I worked there until I was offered a position as the Secretary for Admissions. I learned a lot
about the college and its processes during the time I spent in Admissions. After working in Admissions for two years I transferred to the newly opened
GEAR UP Office where I worked for a year. Then I worked off campus for six months and returned to WWCC when I was offered the Residence Halls &
Student Life Office Assistant position. I have really enjoyed my time in this position and my favorite part is working with the students. I have met
many people from all walks of life and have made some life-long friends as well. I like being in a position to help people and would encourage you to
contact me with any questions you may have.
