General Information About Books:
Textbooks are shelved by department, course number and section number. Course numbers on shelf tags match course numbers in the schedule of classes. New book prices
are established by the publisher. The Bookstore will make every effort to have used textbooks and other alternative formats available. Several titles are available
for rent each semester both online and in the store.
Bookstore Payment Option:
The WWCC Bookstore accepts personal checks with a picture I.D., MasterCard and Visa. When using a credit card, it should be in the name of the
person using the card. If not, a telephone call to verify the cardholder will need to be made.
Textbook Return Policy:
Save your cash register receipts. Refunds will not be approved without them. Receipts are attached to a copy of the "Refund Policy". Please read it
Fall/Spring: Textbooks may be returned if the following conditions are met:
New books are in mint condition
Shrink-wrapped packages or books must be unopened
Software included with a book must be unopened
Books purchased for block courses can be returned no later than 24 hours after the first class
Summer: Check with the Bookstore
Textbook buyback provides students a way to return unwanted textbooks for cash, which helps both students and the Bookstore! Students benefit by
having access to a larger stock of used textbooks while the Bookstore benefits by not having to purchase new textbooks from the publisher. Be sure to
keep your textbooks in the best condition possible, as it is the main factor in getting a good buyback price. Textbook buybacks occur in December and May at
the end of each Fall and Spring semester.
No Textbooks for Your Class:
There are several possible reasons why a book may not be available for the first day of class:
A new class or section has been added because of student demand
Enrollment is greater than the department anticipated
Instructor error, oversight and/or late requests
The publisher is unable to supply the books
Bookstore error or oversight
Books are lost or delayed in transit
Other students have purchased the books in error
Please remember to buy your books early. The Bookstore will start to return the books to suppliers right after the drop/add period.
The WWCC Bookstore invites you to participate in our textbook reservation program. Textbook reservations can be placed the 1st of August for Fall classes and
December for spring classes on the Bookstores Website. This program allows students to obtain their books without the hassle of back to school rush.
When students arrive on campus, they will be able to go to the Bookstore where their books will be pre-packed. Books must be picked up by the end of the
first day of classes.
