ASG
Overview

Logo Students have the right, as well as the obligation, to pursue a significant role in providing for their educational needs and interests. The Associated Student Government at Western Wyoming Community College acts as a conduit for this pursuit and exists in order to provide an effective form of communication, organization and representation for the WWCC student body.

It's fun and easy to join ASG! Elections are held in the first few weeks of every semester. To run for office, acquire a petition and get 25 signatures. Petitions can be downloaded here or found at the ASG office or Residence Halls and Student Life Office.

ASG Goals:
#1 STUDENT INVOLVEMENT
As this year's ASG we want to make all students feel that this is their college and that their opinion does matter. We want to make all students feel welcome at all events and activities taking place at Western. We also are going to continuously encourage students to be active while on-campus.

#2 STUDENT AWARENESS
We also want to educate all students about on-campus issues, and decisions being made for their benefit! We want the students to be informed about government issues and candidates for the upcoming election year.

#3 STUDENT SATISFACTION
As the ASG, we would like to let everyone know that ASG is here to provide a fair and unprejudiced medium between the students and WWCC. We will always be open-minded to new ideas and suggestions from the students.
