The WWCC Men's Basketball team looks to a returning group of 5 as well as 10 newcomers to provide the scoring and rebounding punch necessary to continue
moving toward the top of the conference in Ryan Orton's fifth year as coach.
Coach Art Castillo enters his eighth year as Head Coach for the Mustangs. He expects his wrestlers to compete for a national team title, a national Duals
title and for a National Academic title. He returns eight wrestlers and has 22 newcomers on this year's squad.
With only two returners to this year's squad WWCC Interim Head Coach Scott Dewey knows his team is young and inexperienced. However, they are loaded with
incredible talent and excited to compete in a tough Region IX.
The outlook for the 2016 Mustangs is very promising as the team works under 2nd year women's head coach, Jeff Atkinson. With 7 returners and 12
newcomers, the team is setting their sights on a second ever playoff win, with hopes of advancing to the Region IX semi-finals.
