Coach Doerr enters his first season as the head coach at Western Wyoming Community College and has landed some of the top junior college prospects in the country. He served as the assistant coach for the past 5 years and has been instrumental in leading the Mustangs to 82 wins and 4 straight appearances in the regional tournament.

During Coach Doerr's tenure at Western his teams have also embodied the concept of student-athlete with 8 of 10 semesters above a 3.0 and a second place finish in 2014-15 with a cumulative GPA of 3.25. Coach Doerr has also coached some of the best players in region 9 over the past 5 years, with 4 players earning all-conference honors:
    Isaiah Parros (2014-2015)
    Jarred Laws (2015-2016)
    Tyrell Isaacs (2016-2017)
    Callum Lawson (2016-2017)
Before coming to Western, Doerr spent 4 years at the University of Wyoming under Coach Steve McClain. During his time at Wyoming he coached 5 All Mountain West Players, Brandon Ewing, Brad Jones, Jason Straight, as well as the Defensive Player of the year and future NBA player Justin Williams.

Doerr completed his bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (2002) and Physical Education (2010), and received his master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wyoming in May, 2011. He is married to the former Kristin Legerski of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and the couple has two children, Ava (8) and Addison (6).

Josh Fearing
Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Josh Fearing is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Mustangs and fourth season being with the Mustangs. A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Fearing played three years at Western Wyoming Community College under Coach Ryan Orton from 2014-2017. In his three years at Western Wyoming, he boasted a 58-35 winning record. He was one of the team captains his sophomore year while also earning NJCAA First All-Academic team honors for his performance in the class room.

Coach Fearing is involved with recruiting and will be involved with individual skill development. He will assist in the strength and conditioning programs. He will also be helping with Games Management at Western. Fearing holds two Associate's Degrees in General Studies from Western Wyoming Community College. He is pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education.
