Interviews are considered the most useful tool for evaluating applicants; your resume and cover letter are the preliminary tools to get you to this stage. Interviewing is a formal way for an employer to determine whether your skill set and qualifications are a fit for the organization. Employers are able to confirm with you, personally, that your resume does in fact match up with what you say you can do.

The best way to prepare yourself for an interview is to practice answering difficult interview questions. Taking the time to practice answering difficult interview questions will help you feel more relaxed during the interview, more confident in your answers, and can help you land the job. The ACE IT Center has an extensive list of interview questions that blend together program-specific and soft skill questions to ensure you are fully prepared to answer any interview question that comes your way.

Below you will find more resources to assist you in preparing for your upcoming interview.
