A.N.T.S. and Veteran's Clubs
A.N.T.S. Club (Association for Non-Traditional Students) Objectives
The purpose of A.N.T.S. is to provide opportunities within and outside of the classroom for adult students and their families. The club meets monthly for Lunch-n-Learns where guest speakers talk about how their departments/offices can assist non-traditional students AND lunch is provided! One additional monthly family activity is planned for members and their families to enjoy together, such as free swimming at the Western Wyoming Community College Aquatic Center, free admittance to a Western Wyoming Community College athletic event (and free popcorn!), a Halloween party, an Easter egg hunt, and more! The club builds community and support among non-traditional students.
Veteran's Club (VET)
This club conducts activities for members to create friendships and to build a community of support on campus. It also assists fellow veteran students with navigating the GI Bill, VA hospitals, and other benefits provided by the state and federal government for veterans. The club can also provide assistance to veterans who are struggling with school, emotional, or physical problems. Vets are encouraged to attend the A.N.T.S. Lunch-n-Learn and monthy family activities and more!
