COLLEGE ATTORNEY

Reference: W.S. § 21-18-303

As provided by W.S. § 21-18-303, The College Board of Trustees may “employ legal counsel and bear the cost of litigation”.  The Board shall appoint a College attorney to advise and represent it.

The College attorney is directly responsible to the Board as a whole.  The person appointed shall have a law degree, be in good standing with the local and state bar association and admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Wyoming. 

Day-to-day supervision of and communication with the College attorney is delegated to the College President.
