Dual & Concurrent Students of the Year
Western's College Now program provides Southwest Wyoming high school students with a head start in college coursework, helping them transition seamlessly into college or the workplace after graduation. Dual credit programs, also known as dual enrollment or concurrent enrollment, allow students to earn both college and high school credits simultaneously!

This year's Sweetwater County recipient, Addison Demaret, from Green River High School has not only met the rigorous demands of high school but has also earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies, while simultaneously receiving her high school diploma. Demaret plans to attend University of Wyoming in the fall.
Uinta County School District #6 recipient, Adilyn Roberts, from Lyman High School, has demonstrated exceptional achievement by earning an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in tandem with the completion of her high school diploma. Roberts is our first dual and concurrent student to receive her associates degree from our service area and will be attending Southern Virginia University in the fall.
