Course Descriptions:
Overview
The 'Other' Mustang The Automotive Technology program provides courses for those who want to prepare for the high-tech and exciting world of automotive service and repair. Multiple program options exist: a 71 credit hour program leading to an A.A.S. Degree in Automotive Technology, a 42 credit hour program leading to a One-Year Certificate in Automotive Technology, or a 42 credit hour program leading to the Certificate of Alternative Fuel Vehicle Technology.

The Certificate in Automotive Technology and the Associate Degree in Automotive Technology will help the student to begin a career in the automotive industry that will be both fun and rewarding. The Certificate in Alternative Fuel Vehicle Technology will help the student to be able to work on some of the most high-tech vehicles that are becoming common place on today's streets and highways.

PROGRAMS and DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
NATEF There are three program options for Automotive Technology. The Associate of Applied Science Degree requires 71 credits over 4 recommended semesters. The Automotive Technology Certificate and Alternative Fuel Vehicle Technology Certificate require 42 credits over multiple recommended semesters.
