Garrett Hawley is the Head Coach of Esports and an Instructor of Cybersecurity at Western Wyoming community college. Garrett has over a decade of experience in competitive gaming, leading teams and competing in Halo, World of Warcraft, Rocket League, and Formula 1 esports. His background includes managing high-level raid teams, analyzing player performance, and organizing events for the gaming community. When not coaching or teaching, Garrett can usually be found in a racing seat running online leagues with a full simulator, tinkering with PC hardware, or working on another tech project. Esports matters to Garrett because it gives people who don’t connect with traditional sports a place to compete, build teamwork, and challenge themselves, all while embracing the unique culture of gaming.

Pedro Gonzalez is in his first year as an Esports assistant coach. He is also an admissions counselor at Western Wyoming Community College. As a first-time coach, Pedro brings expertise in Valorant and Rainbow 6 Siege. When not coaching or helping with recruiting efforts at Western, Pedro can be found at his PC playing with friends or playing Hockey. Pedro cares about Esports because it is another space where people can show their competitive edge and passion for their game.
