Host Family Program

We want to make sure you have opportunities to experience American culture while you study at Western! The International Student Host Family Program matches international students with Western employees to be local "host families" who help them feel welcome and settle into their new lives in the United States. International students will still live on campus.

There is no extra cost to join the Host Family Program!

Your host family will plan time together with you (meals, movie, sightseeing, etc.) at least a few times a semester and include you, whenever possible, in holiday and family celebrations.

-Celebrate holidays with a family!

-Enjoy creative activities!

-Go on tours around town and maybe even out of town!

Please fill out the Student Application Form if you are interested!

Once you become a student at Western, the Dean of Student Office will match you with a family based on the preferences you provide.
