Welcome to the Mustang Family!
Orientation is here to help you connect with fellow incoming students, build your sense of belonging, and get excited about becoming a Western Mustang—all before the semester even starts.
While you’re here, you can expect:

- Download the Outlook app and log into your Western email before the event to earn more tickets for prizes.
- Please be prepared to be at the entire event, as this is not a drop-in event.
When is Orientation?
- Wednesday, July 8 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- Wednesday, July 8 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
- Friday, August 14 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Check-In
- TIME: 11:30 AM | 5:30 PM
- LOCATION: Come through the front doors of the main campus!
General Session & Lunch/Dinner
- TIME: 12 PM | 6:00 PM
- LOCATION: Mitchell's Dining Hall
Interactive Session/Parent Session
- TIME: 12:30 PM | 6:30 PM
- LOCATION: Mitchell's Dining Hall/1005
Campus & Housing Tour
- TIME: 1:00 PM | 7:00 PM
- LOCATION: Start @ Info Desk
Closing Session & Door Prizes
- TIME: 2:00 PM | 8:00 PM
- LOCATION: Mitchell's Dining Hall
