ANTS Club

The ANTS Club is proud to support non-traditional students by offering opportunities to engage in activities and conversations with other students in similar life circumstances. Typically, we are parents, working adults, or individuals that have been out of school for some years. We find that we have many obligations to meet outside of our educational environment, and ANTS club attempts to give these students a connection to the campus beyond the classroom. Besides being a source of encouragement to fellow students, ANTS participate in and supports many events that involve the community of Rock Springs and our young people here.

ANTS Club accomplishments during the school year include:

  • Hand out candy to trick-or-treaters during the Children’s Center Halloween Parade on campus.
  • Sponsor 3-4 teams for Bowling for Kid’s Sake, ANTS members, and their families make up bowling teams and help our kids bowl. All team fees collected are to support Big Brothers/Big Sister’s Program.
  • Other events……

The ANTS Club hosts an Easter egg hunt every year for the Children’s Center. They rely on us to put on this event for them. This year we purchased candies and toy-filled plastic eggs. ANT’s members hide eggs on the playground and challenge course during their campus parade.

The A.N.T.S. club raises money to support all our activities through bake sales, raffles, and donations. To see more of our activities and what we are about, see Facebook.

If you would like to join, please contact the advisors Stacie Lynch-Newberg or John Freeman.
