FRIDAY, AUGUST 18TH

HOUSING MOVE-IN DAY FOR HOUSING STUDENTS

Students who will live on-campus for the Fall 2023 semester will move into their room.  For questions, please contact housing@westernwyoming.edu or 307-382-1888.

• TIME: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• LOCATION: Come through the front doors of the main campus!

• TIME: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
• LOCATION: Meet in the Theater at 12PM

Chips and Chats w/ Chelley (Coordinator of Housing)

Come chat with Chelley about Housing questions!

• TIME: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• LOCATION: Rocky Mountain Hall Commons

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19TH

MANDATORY HOUSING ORIENTATION/ Floor Meetings FOR ALL HOUSING STUDENTS

New and returning students will receive important information about how to be successful student and housing policies!

Float the Green River Sign Ups

Only 40 students are allowed to go on this trip! So be quick to sign up!

• TIME: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• LOCATION: Pendulum

HOUSING SOCIAL - Sponsored by the Resident Assistants

Students who live on-campus can attend this social to get to know other residents in housing.  Free snacks, drinks, and great dancing music will be provided!

• TIME: 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• LOCATION: President's Park (Behind Rocky Mountain Hall)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 20TH

GREEN RIVER ISLAND FLOATING TRIP - Sponsored by Student Life

The first 40 students to sign up will be able to float the Green River located 15 miles away from campus! Sign- Ups will be on Saturday, August 19th at 4PM at the Pendulum!

• TIME: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• LOCATION: meet at the front of campus for bus pick up at 11:00PM

FIND YOUR CLASSES EVENT - Sponsored by Ambassadors

Western's ambassadors will be available to help students locate their classes the night before they start because we know how stressful it can be in a new building!

MONDAY, AUGUST 21ST

FALL SEMESTER CLASSES BEGIN!

POOL PARTY - Sponsored by the Student Government Association

Come enjoy the amazing Aquatic Center on-campus by playing in the pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi, or competing in the contests for prizes!  Pizza and drinks will be provided!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 22ND

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - Sponsored by Student Life

Players will be in teams! No need to register. Come early to enter into the tournament!

• TIME: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• LOCATION: Grass Area in West Parking Lot

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23RD

Mustang Field Day - Sponsored by Athletic Department

Students will come listen to the great music, and win great prizes!  Snacks and drinks will be provided!

• TIME: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• LOCATION: Near Rushmore Gym

THURSDAY, AUGUST 24TH

COLOR DANCE PARTY - Sponsored by the Student Government Association

All students are invited, regardless of if you live on-campus or off-campus, to come and dance the night away in this outdoor color dance party. Wear white and enjoy the great dancing music provided by Western's Radio Club with the black lights shining!  Snacks and drinks will be provided!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH

DOG TOY CHARITY EVENT - Sponsored by Student Life

Come celebrate NATIONAL DOG DAY by making a dog toy!
