The first camp will be held Monday, June 15, through Thursday, June 18. The second camp will be held Monday, July 27, through Thursday, July 30. Both will be held in Western’s Rushmore Gymnasium on the Rock Springs campus.
Camps for students in grades one through four will run from 9 - 11 a.m. each day. Camps for students in grades five through eight will run from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day. Each camper’s grade level is determined according to which grade she will enter into this fall.
The Mustang Summer Basketball Camp provides students with individual skill development, group and team instruction, competitions and prizes, and motivational materials. Campers will also receive a camp t-shirt, and competition winners will receive “Mustang Hot Shot Awards.”
Coaching and instruction will be provided by Mustang coaches, including Head Coach Garett Sherman and Assistant Coaches Mike Swenson and Becca Lewis.
Individual camp prices are $85 per child per camp. This year’s camp fee has been reduced by $40 compared to previous years; therefore, there will be no multi-child discount this year.
Mustang Summer Basketball Camps are a terrific place for kids of all skill levels to learn about the game of basketball, and the highly knowledgeable Mustang coaching staff will create a fun and exciting environment in which campers can learn about the game.
