Prospective students and parents invited to the Western campus for Senior Day on Wednesday, March 25

There will be games, prizes and even a balloon drop at this year's Senior Day event on March 25.

ROCK SPRINGS —Western Wyoming Community College invites prospective students and their families from Southwest Wyoming to tour the Rock Springs campus and attend a college fair during Senior Day on Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 10 a.m.

At Senior Day, high school seniors will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, tour residence halls, speak with financial aid representatives, and participate in a variety of departmental scholarship competitions and auditions. Parents will attend their own sessions and registration/orientation programs, including a session on “Parenting Your College Freshman.”

Check-in begins at 10 a.m. and programming begins at 10:30 a.m. Free lunches for Senior Day guests will be available at 12 p.m. Advance registration is recommended. Go to to register.

There will also be fun contests and activities for students in Rushmore Gymnasium during the day, including a balloon drop at 11:15 AM.

Auditions and competitions for scholarships begin after lunch and include the following disciplines: art and 3-D art (please bring a portfolio), computer science, dance, exercise science, music, theatre, technology and industry, and forensics - speech and debate.
