Ariel Ramos is an Instructor of Sociology and Criminal Justice. Ariel’s educational
background includes an Associate degree In Criminal Justice, a bachelor's degree in
law and Society from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Science in
Sociology with a concentration in Education from Grand Canyon University, her academic
background, combined with her professional experience, provides her with a multidisciplinary
perspective on sociology, criminal justice, law, public safety, and education. Before
entering higher education, Ariel developed extensive professional experience in the
legal and public-safety fields, including working as a paralegal, state trooper, and
a senior compliance officer for Wyoming OSHA. Ariel has been an instructor at Western
Wyoming College since fall 2026.
