Ben Nathan

Ben Nathan was raised amidst the smell of sagebrush and the whistling wind in Green River, WY. Ben makes artwork about life, loss, and celebration of personal identity. From loved ones to furniture to childhood relationships, his work acknowledges the loss that is inherent to living.
Ben maintains a mixed-media studio practice, melding printmaking and drawing; resulting in personal and heavily object-based imagery situated within glimpses of the vast plains of the American West. Ben's artworks have been featured in exhibitions across the country, as well as internationally.
Ben teaches classes in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Art History, 2-D Design, and Color Theory. Ben is also in charge of managing Western's Art Gallery.
