Whether you’re a lifelong native or new to Sweetwater County, there are countless community events, student activities, as well as outdoor adventures that celebrate the beautiful season of fall. From fall festivals to fall scenery, Rock Springs and Green River Wyoming offers affordable fun for everyone at Western as well as outside of it!
Fall into Fall Festival:
Come out and enjoy free hayrides ( 11-1pm & 2-4pm) live music, and a small pumpkin patch to get your mind off your homework! It’s a great way to enjoy the fall season with family-friendly activities only 20 minutes away from Campus.

Come grab some delicious treats from local vendors! Whether you want to shop for some fall décor or just simply try some delicious treats this place will have it all!

This beautiful park located in the heart of Rock Springs offers a relaxing place to study with beautiful fall color trees. Grab yourself a coffee from any local coffee shop and head down to relax and enjoy the fall scenery.

Whether it’s wandering through the Fall Festival, shopping local at Shopapalooza, or just enjoying the colors at Bunning Park, there’s something for everyone. So step away from your textbooks for a bit, take in the crisp air, and make the most of this cozy Wyoming season! A don't forget to grab a pumpkin spice latte or apple cider at Pinup Coffee in Downtown's train station. This will get you started or be a nice treat after. Ask if they give student discounts, lots of shops downtown do but you have to show your studnet id.
