Western's Art Department has a number of Financial Aid opportunities for both prospective and currently enrolled students who are Art Majors.

- Merit-based Art Scholarship
- Any art major can apply for this scholarship
- In addition to the application, students should submit a portfolio including 10 images of their own artwork (JPEG format) with corresponding image list and a brief artist's statement via email to Ben Nathan at bnathan@westernwyoming.edu
- Clarence Sargent Scholarship Endowment for the Visual Arts
- This Opportunity is provided on a recommendation basis

- WHSAA State Art Symposium Scholarships
- The Art Department awards up to three Art Scholarships to graduating high school seniors at the annual WHSAA State Art Symposium in Casper, WY
- All applicants must intend to attend Western as an Art Major to be eligible for this scholarship
- Application process involves providing a portfolio of artwork images and an in-person interview at State Art Symposium

- Art Student Work/Study employment
- Western also employs students as Work/Study Employees in various disciplines within the Art Area
- These positions are available to qualifying Art majors, and include working in a specific art area and being paid at an hourly rate
- Areas of employment include: Ceramics Studio, Painting Studio, Drawing Studio, Printmaking Studio, and the Art Gallery
