Wyoming State Math Contest

March 10, 2026

Started as a regional competition at Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming, the contest soon spread across the state and became a popular annual event for math enthusiasts. It is now known as the Wyoming State Math Contest.

The Southwest Region Wyoming State Math Contest is a regional competition serving the southwest Wyoming area and is part of the Wyoming State Math Contest. The contest features questions appropriate for students in grades 6–12. Western Wyoming Community College has long been the host of the southwest regional contest.

Winners are recognized at each regional host site, and all regional scores are combined to determine the statewide winners.
