Important Dates:

• The 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open now! 
• Summer 2026 Registration: February 18th
• 2026-2027 Scholarship App : Currently Open
• Summer 2026 Term begins: June 1st
  • Those who did not meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements after the spring 2026 term and have extenuating circumstance may submit a SAP appeal.
  • SAP Appeals may be submitted starting March 1st and must be received no later than May 25th to be considered. No Exceptions!
  • Please contact the Financial Aid office for the SAP appeal form.
  • Submitting an appeal does not guarantee approval!

Your Guide for Financial Aid:

1. Fill Out the FAFSA: Head to studentaid.gov and use our school code: 003933 to get started. 
2. Apply for Scholarships: Here! 
3. Submit Test Scores and Transcripts: Make sure all your test scores and transcripts are on file, submit to documents@westernwyoming.edu if needed.
4. Review Your Financial Aid Package: Log in to your MyWestern account to review and accept your financial aid offer.
