Online Classes

For those students who cannot attend class on campus, many online courses are offered so it’s possible to obtain a degree or certificate while continuing your employment. Smaller classes along with faculty and staff who care make Western the perfect choice. Help with some classes is available through the Peer Tutoring Center. For a full list of education opportunities solely online, visit Online Learning

Western was named the most affordable college in Wyoming, and the third best community college in the nation. We are committed to making higher education accessible to adult learners.

Kickstart Wyoming's Tomorrow - State Scholarship for Adults

There has never been a better time to come back to college. If you are 24 years of age or older and wanting to start college or finish the degree you started, you can receive up to $7,200 to put toward tuition. Learn More.

Children's Center

Western knows many non-traditional students are also parents. The Children's Center on campus makes it easier for parents to attend classes while their children are well-cared for and close by. Western was the first college in Wyoming to establish a child care center on campus, knowing it was vital to our student-parents success.

Housing

Family housing is available. At least one of the parents must be a student enrolled in at least one credit hour per semester during the Fall and Spring semesters. Contact housing@westernwyoming.edu for more information.
