Make photography your pastime or your passion with these fall courses at Western!

August 15, 2016

Photography classes
Photography classes available at Western. Day or evening classes available.

Amateur photographers or aspiring professionals will learn a lot with Photography classes at Western Wyoming Community College this fall!

Students will learn the basics of photography, and the art of film developing, in Photography I (ART 1150), offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 7 – 9:50 p.m.

Students interested in digital photography may take Digital Imaging I (ART 1178) on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 – 10:50 a.m. or on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Students are recommended to have taken Photography I before enrolling in this class, but that class is not required. And students are welcome to take both classes concurrently!

Both of these three-credit courses will teach students the technical and conceptual basics of composing and capturing visually engaging photographs, and both will satisfy a general-education requirement for degree-seeking students.

See the Fall 2016 Schedule of Classes for the complete Art schedule. For information on how to register for classes as a degree-seeking or non-degree seeking student, contact Mustang Central at (307 382-1677 or at mustangcentral@westernwyoming.edu.
