Mustang Basketball at Western Wyoming Community College will host four summer camps this year, beginning with a Green River Coed Camp at Lincoln Middle School from June 6 – 8, followed by a WWCC Girls’ Camp June 13 – 16, a WWCC Boys’ Camp June 20 – 23, and a WWCC Coed Camp July 25 – 28. The final three camps will be held in Rushmore Gymnasium on the Western campus.
Cost for the three-day Green River camp is $65 per student. Cost for the four-day Rock Springs camps is $85 per student per camp. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball for each camp attended.
Camps are open to students who will enter first through eighth grade this fall. Camps for students in first through fourth grade will run from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Camps for students in fifth through eighth grade will run from 1 – 4 p.m.
Mustang Summer Basketball Camps provide students with individual skill development, group and team instruction, competitions and prizes, and motivational materials. Coaching and instruction will be provided by Mustang coaches, including Men’s Head Coach Ryan Orton and Assistant Coach Jason Doerr, and Women’s Head Coach Garett Sherman and Assistant Coach Mike Swenson.
Mustang Summer Basketball Camps are a terrific place for kids of all skill levels to learn about the game of basketball, and the highly knowledgeable Mustang coaching staff will create a fun and exciting environment in which campers can develop their love of the game.
