Western Wyoming Community College has announced a cancellation and a schedule change for its Saturday, Jan. 30 games vs. Little Big Horn College.

The 3 p.m. women’s game has been cancelled due to forfeit by the LBHC Rams. The 5 p.m. men’s game has been moved up to 3 p.m.

Western was informed of the possibility of forfeit by the LBHC women’s team last week, which prompted the rescheduling of the annual Labor Night – Free Night basketball doubleheader, sponsored by United Steelworkers’ Locals 13214 and 15320, from Jan. 30 to Feb. 13. The Mustang women’s and men’s teams will play Northwest College on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively.

On Thursday, LBHC confirmed that its women’s team would not make the trip to Rock Springs.

The Mustang men head into Saturday’s game following a dominant 90-61 win over Miles Community College on Thursday night. That victory pushed the Mustangs’ record to 16-6 overall and 4-2 in Region IX North.
