Singer-songwriter Jaspar Lepak will perform at the Green River Library on Tuesday, April 21.

ROCK SPRINGS  – The Western Wyoming Community College Cultural Affairs Committee and the Sweetwater County Library will co-host a live performance by singer/songwriter Jaspar Lepak at the Green River Library on Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. This performance is free and open to the public.

Ms. Lepak is a Seattle-based folk/Americana songstress whose seven albums have earned her a devoted international following. Her 2011 CD, “Forgiving Wind,” recorded while she was a resident of Durban, South Africa, was praised by Rolling Stone South Africa as being full of “beauty and original charm.” Her seventh CD, “Wide World,” was released in 2014. Sweeping across landscapes with an emotional depth that is extraordinary, Lepak’s lyrics expose a brave vulnerability while her clear, pure voice touches the heart.

The April 21 concert in Green River will mark Lepak’s first time ever performing in Wyoming. Western is proud to co-host this live concert event with the Sweetwater County Library.
