Mike Swenson is entering his seventh season on the Mustangs coaching staff. He began his college athletics career as a student-athlete at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, SD. Swenson was on scholarship for football, basketball and baseball during his collegiate career. The University of Sioux Falls football team compiled a 14-0 record in 1996 earning them a National Championship. His team was also inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 2006. Coach Swenson graduated from USF with a bachelor's of fine arts degree in education in 1997.

Jordan Giles Jordan Giles
Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Jordan Giles is entering her first season as the Assistant Coach for the Mustangs. A native of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Giles played two years at Western Wyoming Community College from 2010-2012 where she also received her Associate of Art's Degree. During her time at Western, she received Academic All-Conference, Academic All-Region, NJCAA All Region IX Team, and NJCAA Region IX All-Tournament Team. Following her tenure as a Mustang, Giles attended Dixie State University on a full ride scholarship to play for the Women's Basketball team. She graduated from Dixie State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication- with an emphasis on Human Communication. During her free time, she enjoys trap shooting, days at the lake, or hanging out with friends and family.

Courtney Patterson Courtney Patterson
Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Courtney Patterson is entering her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Mustangs. Patterson is a native is Rock Springs Wyoming. She played volleyball and basketball for two years at Central Wyoming Community College in Riverton, WY. There she accomplished All region and All Conference in Volleyball and Basketball both of her years in the program. Patterson then went on to play basketball at Black Hills State University where she earned Warrior of the Month and led her team to the conference finals. She finished her time at Black Hills earning a Bachelors in Science of Education and is now starting her career as the PE/Health teacher for Rock Springs Junior High.

Connor Zumpfe
Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Connor Zumpfe is entering his first year as a volunteer assistant with the Mustang Women's Basketball Team. Connor is from York, Nebraska and graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Connor played basketball and football at Nebraska Wesleyan University earning First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Nebraska, and was named the Academic All-American of the Year in 2014 during his time on the football team. Connor is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has strong interests in ACL prevention, sport performance, strength and conditioning. Connor and his wife, Alyssa, work at Alliance Physical Therapy in Rock Springs and enjoy camping, hiking and recreational sports.
