Students Depend on Western Wyoming Community College Children's Center

Since the Children's Center was established in 1975, we have been providing a comprehensive, quality preschool program serving Western students, staff, and faculty.  Western Wyoming Community College was the first college in Wyoming to establish a child care center on campus, recognizing our student-parents could better succeed in their academic pursuits if they had on-campus, high-quality child care. We continue the tradition of innovation by providing a rich curriculum for children and support for their parents.

The Children's Center is situated between the Aquatic Center and the tennis courts on the Western campus. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, during fall and spring semesters and Monday through Thursday, 7am to 6pm, during summer semester.

You know that your children are in good hands when they go running ahead of you into the Children's Center to give their teachers a big hug. I cannot express how comforting it is to know that my children are in an environment that they love, with a wonderful group of individuals who truly care about them. They offer a fantastic curriculum for the children and are helping them get right on track for their future school years. As a nursing student at Western Wyoming Community College, the Western Children's Center has been a blessing. I never worry about my children while I am in class. The hours and the flexibility of the staff are perfect. I cannot express how grateful I am for all the help and encouragement from the Children's Center. They work hard to make sure that childcare is one thing you do not ever need to stress about while you are in school.-— Holly Blau
